Meet The Team

Jake Wood
OWNER/LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Coach Jake played for the Halton Hurricanes for 7 years and went on to play for The Gunnery in the New England Hockey Prep School league. From there he was drafted 43rd overall in the USHL draft by the Lincoln Stars. Jake went on to graduate from RPI in the NCAA D1 with a Business Management degree. Jake played two years in the ECHL for the Manchester Monarchs and Norfolk Admirals. Coach Jake now works for USHL Central Scouting in Ontario and is committed to the development of all age groups.

Andy Bathgate
OWNER/LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Coach Andy grew up playing for the Brampton Battalion, and was in turn drafted by the Belleville Bulls in the 3rd round. In 2009 Andy was selected in the 5th round (150th overall) by the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he later joined the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins for their playoff run. Andy spent 7 years playing professionally both in the United States and Europe. Andy is a driven, hard working coach committed to the development of players both on and off the ice.

Matt Neal
OWNER/LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Matt comes to us after recently retring from playing pro in Vienna Austria in the top EBEL league. He has played 8 seasons professionally between the AHL, ECHL and Europe. He attended RPI (NCAA D-1) for four seasons before playing Professionally.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING SPECIALIST/SPORTS NUTRITIONIST
Jenna joins our team after being in Vancouver for the past year training some of the worlds elite hockey players. Jenna is a registered Kinesiologist, certified strength and conditioning specialist and has earned her Bachelor of applied sciences in human nutriiton and has specialized in sports nutrition.
FORWARD/SKILLS COACH
Coach Broll was drafted in the first round to the Erie Otters of the OHL and played 5 years in the OHL before being drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs. Coach Broll went on to play 10 total professional seasons while playing 5 games in the NHL for the Leafs.
FORWARD/SKILLS COACH
Rands was drafted 14th overall to the Belleville Bulls and went on to play five seasons in the OHL. Coach Tyler went on to play nine years pro while playing 27 games with the Boston Bruins.
