Jake Wood

Jake is from Georgetown, ON and grew up playing for the Halton Hurricanes before moving on to play at prep school in the New England Prep League. Jake was drafted by the Lincoln Stars (43rd overall) in the USHL draft, and played one season there. He then accepted a full scholarship to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NCAA Div. 1) where he played four seasons, and graduated with honours. Jake moved on to play two seasons in the ECHL. Jake is the head scout in Canada for USHL Central Scouting, and has been a head coach at the U15AAA and U16AAA levels for four years. He is currently the head coach of the Halton Hurricanes U16AAA team.
